| All jobs that are identified as approved on the DOB essential site map must post a “Certificate of Authorization” at job sites until 4/29. A new posting will also be required after 4/29. Affordable housing, utility work, schools, and hospitals are essential and do not need to post the certificate. Façade inspections can be performed using suspended scaffolds. Not practicing social distancing or unauthorized non-essential work may result in a 10k fine. Applicant of record needs to file an “essential construction request” with DOB NOW in order to seek approval to work. |
