President Biden has signed an executive order on “Protecting Worker Health and Safety”. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has been directed to update COVID safety recommendations for businesses within the next two-weeks. OSHA must evaluate whether a temporary emergency standard for COVID-19 is needed and if so, to have one written and ready to be issued by mid-March.
