Nuevas normas crean un proceso de autorización para el uso de drones.

Las normas se aplican a las inspecciones de edificios, las inspecciones de infraestructuras y la planificación de proyectos de capital. Además, las normas garantizan la existencia de salvaguardias adecuadas para proteger la seguridad y la privacidad de todos los neoyorquinos.

"Los drones nos van a permitir hacer inspecciones de fachadas más rápidas y seguras, nos van a ayudar a inspeccionar y mantener nuestros puentes, túneles e infraestructuras críticas", ha dicho el alcalde Adams.

Según la nueva normativa, las personas y entidades deberán solicitar un permiso para despegar o aterrizar legalmente un dron o cualquier otro tipo de aeronave no tripulada en la ciudad de Nueva York. 

WHEN IS A TPP REQUIRED?

If the owner section of the application (PI) indicates that there are occupied dwelling units in the building, then a TPP is required, except for Alt-CO subsequent filings where the TPP is approved on the initial filing.

ON A SITE WHERE THE WORK INVOLVED DOES NOT AFFECT TENANTS, IS THERE A WAY TO WAIVE TPP?

If the owner section of the application (PI) indicates that there are occupied dwelling units in the building, then a TPP is required. The TPP cannot be waived if there are occupied dwelling units.

DO I NEED TO SUBMIT PLANS OR DOCUMENTS

WITH THE TPP REQUEST?

The only document that is required is a DPL-1 form if the applicant of the

TPP request is different from the applicant on the job filing (PW1).

WHEN CAN I REQUEST A TPP?

Currently, the TP review request can only be created and submitted after the job filing is approved. The TPP must be approved before a work permit can be requested

CAN THE TPP APPLICANT OF RECORD PERFORM THE TENANT PROTECTION COMPLIANCE SPECIAL INSPECTION?

Section 28-120.1 of the New York City Administrative Code requires the registered design professional preparing the tenant protection plan to be retained by the General Contractor. Section 1704.1.1.2 of the Building Code requires the Special Inspection Agency and inspectors to be independent of the contractor responsible for the work. Therefore, the RDP preparing the TPP is not permitted to be the Special Inspector.

This course trains all individuals in safe flagging techniques specific to New York regulations. The topics discussed in this course involve a thorough understanding of flagging procedures, proper use of required equipment, review of flagging skills from hands-on training and classroom activities, and coordinating traffic movement through the work zone.
